The Asian Cricket Council and the Pakistan Cricket Board have officially released the schedule for the Men’s ODI Asia Cup 2023. The tournament will take place from 30th August to 17th September, with Pakistan hosting four matches and Sri Lanka hosting nine matches.

The competition will be held at four venues: Multan and Lahore in Pakistan, and Kandy and Colombo in Sri Lanka. Multan will host the opening match between Pakistan and Nepal on 30th August, while the final will take place at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo on 17th September, with a reserve day on 18th September.

Sri Lanka will begin their campaign against Bangladesh in Kandy on 31st August, while the highly anticipated Pakistan-India match will be held in Kandy on 2nd September. If both teams qualify for the Super-4 stage, they will meet again in Colombo on 10th September.

The teams have been divided into two groups. Group A consists of Pakistan (A1), India (A2), and Nepal, while Group B includes Sri Lanka (B1), Bangladesh (B2), and Afghanistan. The teams that progress to the Super-4 stage will be determined based on their performance in the first round.
